關於肺片與肺塊上深色物質

紐西蘭原廠回覆的信件:

 

The lamb lung is darker primarily because of the blood. 

The blood gets released when dicing and cooking.

Lamb lung releases more blood than beef or venison so look darker than the two. 

Venison lung looks similar to lamb lung.

The Product is not cooked so there is no charring , it is gently dried but the blood on the lung will dry black.

Dogs should appreciate the extra blood content.

羊肺因為血液的關係,外觀顏色上看起來會與鹿肺相似,但會比牛的顏色再更深一點,而在切片切丁的過程中也會有血液釋出。

經過低溫烘烤後,肺上的血液會變為黑色,並非高溫烹調產生的燒焦。

此外狗狗也能從肺系列的零食中,額外攝取血液中的營養素。
